Former Bluffs Resident to Open Insurance Agency

BLUFFS, IL – A former resident of Bluffs is returning to his roots to open an insurance agency. Brian Floyd, owner of Floyd Insurance Agency LLC, will be opening their main headquarters office in Bluffs. The agency currently has a satellite office at 1111 West Morton Avenue Suite #8 in Jacksonville. The agencies offer personal insurance including life insurance, annuities, business insurance, auto, home, umbrella, renter, boat, motorcycle insurance, among other types.

“I grew up in both Bluffs and Meredosia,” said Floyd. “I am excited to be here and provide a service to people I have known most of my life, as well as new people who call the Bluffs area home.” 

The public is invited to a ribbon cutting at their Bluffs location at 1 Wilson Street on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 4 p.m. An open house will follow until 7. 

Floyd along with Insurance Producer Amy Mitchell-Hart will staff the Bluffs office, while Hayden Floyd will primarily manage the Jacksonville office.
