Jacksonville Memorial Hospital is our largest healthcare institution. Jacksonville Memorial Hospital serves the residents of Morgan, Cass, Greene, Scott and Macoupin counties in West Central Illinois, is staffed by 677 full and part-time employees, and is equipped to handle 93 patient beds. Jacksonville Memorial Hospital has also been the recipient of many accreditations and awards, having been named one of the top two hospitals in the State and one of the top 10 percent in the nation to administer antibiotics 60 minutes prior to surgery by the Illinois Hospital Association (IHS). Jacksonville Memorial Hospital has received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Patient Safety. In addition, they have been designated a Magnet hospital, the highest honor an organization can receive for professional nursing practice.
