Responsibilities:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform full range of duties pertaining to the loan processing/closing/servicing functions.
  • Order and track receipt of documents necessary for loan closing such as, but not limited to, appraisals, flood determination, title/legal work, etc.
  • Review files to ensure that documents and disbursements are prepared accurately for loan officer performing the closing.
  • Obtain pay-off information as necessary.
  • Review files after closing to ensure that all documents are signed and checks disbursed.
  • Process all types of loan payments.
  • Prepare and forward lien requests to Recorder; prepare releases.
  • Prepare line of credit advances.
  • Ensure insurance policies are in borrowers’ files and that the bank is listed as lien holder.
  • Set up and maintain loan files; follow up for missing documents.
  • Answer customers’ inquiries pertaining to the loan servicing function.
  • Request annual financial reports from customers.
  • Assist in managing the facility’s network and Director imaging of documents.
  • Other duties as requested by Supervisor. 

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Good math, typing, telephone, P.C., and mechanical skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of the loan processing and/or loan servicing function (after training, if needed).
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality with a smile and greeting for every customer.
  • High school diploma or GED plus additional bank-related training and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Information:

NORMAL SCHEDULE: This full-time position will be scheduled for approx. 37-40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday but could include an occasional Saturday.
