Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering or technical discipline or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive and related professional health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
- Well-developed leadership and motivational skills with proven ability to influence and motivate others to quickly achieve results.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Ability to travel (5%).
- Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
Icing on the cake:
- Certifications in Health & Safety.
- MBA or Master’s degree.
- Environmental experience.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain updated OSHA and EPA required written programs and develop/conduct training as necessary.
- Oversee the reporting and investigations of any potential injury, accident, and/or health and safety related issues.
- Oversee the necessary environmental, health, and safety training to support and enhance the organization’s safety culture.
- Develop and deploy policies, procedures, programs to support best practices and identify best practices within the Reynolds system.
- Provide communication and training to plant management, establish, and maintain communications, reporting, assessments, training programs, and guidance.
- Work with the Corporate EHS departments and provide prioritized direction and technical expertise to the engineering organizations or contractors in implementing projects.

The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager is responsible for providing focus, definition, and technical expertise for the development of a proactive Environmental, Health, and Safety plan that is consistent with Reynolds’ corporate policies, vision, and values; and follows local, state, and federal Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations. This position will inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards. Ultimately, you will play a key role in protecting our employees, customers, and the environment.
