Qualifications:

Summary:

Develops, maintains, and continuously improves the CCK Quality Assurance systems to ensure continuous production of products that meet or exceed established standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:                                                  

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or 5 to 10 years of electronic manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:                                              

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Design software; Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Be able to learn CCK Automations ERP system (MACOLA) as well as CCK’s network within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish and continuously improve standards and proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
  • Ensure prompt, professional communication to customers and the CCK team.  Ensure all customer issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
  • Ensure systems to quarantine questionable or defective parts are in place and effective.
  • Ensure systems are in place to get to root cause of quality failures and to develop corrective and preventative actions.
  • Develop, train, and continuously improve the quality team and quality culture at CCK Automations.
  • Ensure effectiveness of quality incoming inspection process.
  • Develop systems and procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
  • Apply Total Quality Management tools and approaches to processes within each department.
  • Work with all stakeholders to develop robust leading indicators and process control to ensure consistent, reliable, defect free production.
  • Develops and implements quality assurance training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers.
  • Creates and maintains environmental testing programs such as ESD, humidity, and cleanliness
  • Leads all ISO certification programs and activities and ensures all ISO documentation is current and compliant.
  • Communicates to all levels in the plant to outline trends, quality issues, and any changes in policy or practice of manufacturing quality assemblies.
  • Be an expert in IPC and JDEC Standards for class I, II, and III electronics manufacturing standards, and be able to clarify the standards when needed.  Maintain knowledge as the standards for IPC and JDEC evolve with new releases.
  • Be familiar with UL requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:                                                  

Manages all personnel in the Quality Assurance Department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the level of quality at CCK Automations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
