Terry came to the JREDC in October with 21 years of experience.  He is looking forward to success by providing job opportunities, broadening the tax base and improving the quality of life in Morgan and Scott County. His background in business operations, prospecting, supervision, finances and public relations give him the tools to be successful in his position.  Terry has assisted businesses with long range financial planning and developed new investments and loan programs to overcome challenging economic conditions.

In his past position, Terry was instrumental in the creation of 1,800 new jobs and reducing the unemployment rate from 15% to 6%.  He managed the Enterprise Zone Program as well as the Revolving Loan Program.  Terry developed and managed a Foreign Trade Zone and led the successful attraction of a Tier one Japanese auto supplier.  Terry has written and administered over 6.5 million dollars of state and federal infrastructure grants and developed a Workforce Advisory Council and designed the Lawrence County website. 

Terry is a 1991 graduate of EDI (Economic Development Institute), an honors graduate from U.S. Army Leadership Training Schools and holds a B.S. from Western Illinois University in Agricultural Education.

Bonni has been with the EDC since 1996, now serving as Vice President. Her responsibilities include research, program support, volunteer coordination, bookkeeping and related activities. Bonni collects, analyzes and assembles all data for site and building brochures, community profiles, the industry index, labor surveys, and similar projects. She coordinates and prepares special projects, including segment and prospect-specific research, and creates and maintains mailing lists for marketing and public relations purposes, including target industry projects, and research support activities related to the EDC's existing industry and attraction programs. Bonni is a 2002 graduate from the Economic Development Institute and regularly attends economic development professional education programs.

Bonni has worked at various agencies for the State of Illinois in Springfield. She was also employed in the marketing department of Irwin Magnetics, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as part of a team that developed collateral marketing materials and provided nationwide sales support. At Bozell Advertising Agency, located in Southfield, Michigan, Bonni was part of a team that assisted in marketing Chrysler-Plymouth Brand products.
